Roggenart officially opened its doors in Hampstead, Maryland with a grand celebration that brought together town leaders, neighbors, and plenty of pastries. The event was filled with excitement, laughter, and a unique twist that only Roggenart could bring.

Local dignitaries joined the festivities, including Mayor Chris Nevin, Carroll County Commissioner Ken Kiler, Town Manager Jim Roark, Council Member Deborah Painter, and Chief of Police David Snyder. Together with the community, they helped welcome Roggenart into the heart of Hampstead.

To mark the occasion, CEOs Neman Popov and Brody Tennant christened the grand opening in true Roggenart style—by breaking open a giant croissant, symbolizing the brand’s promise to “bring flakiness into Maryland” with its authentic European baked goods.

But that wasn’t the only record set that day. Roggenart proudly unveiled Maryland’s Largest Pumpkin Spice Latte—measuring an astounding 2.3 gallons! The oversized fall favorite was more than just a crowd-pleaser; it was a symbol of unity, warmth, and community spirit.

“Our grand opening in Hampstead was everything we hoped for and more,” said Neman Popov, CEO of Roggenart. “The turnout was incredible, and the love and support from the community made us feel right at home. Creating the largest Pumpkin Spice Latte in Maryland was our way of celebrating the season and showing how much we care about bringing people together.”

Brody Tennant, CEO and Managing Partner, added: “Roggenart is more than just a café—it’s a gathering place where families can connect and memories can be made. This grand opening showed us the true spirit of Hampstead, and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of this community.”

With pastries, coffee, and community at the center of the celebration, Roggenart’s grand opening proved to be a warm, welcoming success. From record-breaking lattes to giant croissant moments, one thing is clear—Hampstead now has a new favorite spot to gather, sip, and savor.
