Yesterday’s winter storm blanketed Maryland in snow, ice, and strong winds—one of those true “stay cozy, stay safe” kind of days. As always, the safety of our guests and our teams comes first. Because of the conditions left behind by the storm, some Roggenart locations are closed today, Monday, January 26, 2026, while others are open with adjusted hours.

Today, our Columbia, Towson, Savage, and Baltimore locations are closed to allow road conditions to improve and to ensure our teams can travel safely. We’ll be sharing a clear, easy-to-read graphic across our social channels so guests can quickly see which stores are open or closed. Transparency and communication matter to us, especially on days like this.

The good news? The rest of our Maryland Roggenart locations are open today until 4:00 PM, ready to welcome you in with the warmth, comfort, and European-inspired flavors you know and love. If you’re able to safely make the trip, our cafés are cozy refuges from the cold—filled with the aroma of fresh-baked croissants, rich espresso, and comforting savory pastries.

Winter storms remind us of the power of slowing down. They give us permission to sip a hot latte a little longer, linger over breakfast, or enjoy a quiet afternoon bite. Whether you’re stopping in after shoveling snow, working remotely with a croissant by your side, or simply craving something warm and familiar, Roggenart is here for you where it’s safe to do so.

We are incredibly grateful for our community our guests who check in, share updates, and support us through unpredictable winter weather, and our teams who work hard to keep Roggenart running smoothly while prioritizing safety. Days like today are a reminder that we’re more than a bakery, part of a neighborhood rhythm.

Before heading out, we encourage everyone to check our social media pages or Google Business listings for the latest updates. Conditions can change quickly, and we’ll continue to communicate clearly throughout the day.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support. Stay safe, stay warm, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon—whether today at one of our open locations or very soon when all Roggenart cafés are back open and baking.
